Dysport
A botulinum type A neurotoxin that reduces or eliminates fine facial lines and wrinkles.
Dysport is a major player in the field of FDA-approved facial rejuvenation treatments. Developed by Galderma® to work similarly to Botox®, Dysport has specific differences to help accommodate patients who don’t respond well to Botox or metabolize it too quickly.
Dysport varies slightly from Botox as it defuses over a broader area than Botox® and has a slightly quicker onset of 2-5 days. It is a commonly recommended alternative to Botox.
